Problem Statement

With the growing number of electric vehicles (EVs) on the road, there is an increasing need for a reliable and user-friendly app to locate available and compatible charging stations. BP aims to develop an app that addresses these needs, focusing on reducing range anxiety and improving the charging experience for EV owners.

Read Articles and researched about 20 EV owners, gathering insights into their challenges and requirements. 

Key findings included:

  • Difficulty in quickly locating available charging stations.

  • Concerns about charger compatibility with their EV models.

  • Anxiety about finding a charger before the battery depletes.

Competitive Analysis

Analyzed existing EV charging apps to identify strengths and weaknesses. Findings showed:
 

  • Overly complex interfaces in some apps.

  • Inconsistent information on charger availability.

  • Limited features for managing range anxiety.
